Wireless Microphone Kit

Connecting to your recording device

These wireless microphones can be connected to a smartphone, computer or video camera using the appropriate cables included in this kit.

  • Connecting to the Video Recording Kit
    • Connect the receiver to the camera using the red 3.5 TRS to TRS cable provided.
  • Connecting to a smartphone
    • Android: Connect the receiver using the white USB-C to USB-C cable
    • iOS: Connect the receiver using the yellow USB-C to Lightening cable
  • Connecting to a computer
    • Connect the receiver using either the green USB-C to USB-A charging cable or the white USB-C to USB-C cable.
  • Charging
    • Connect both microphones and the receiver to the green USB-C to USB-A cables using the USB wall charger. Charging is complete when the blue light on each device is steady.

Getting setup to record

Powering on and connecting the microphones

  • Press and hold the power button on the receiver (2). To pair your microphones to the receiver, press and hold the power button on the microphones one at a time (2). Once turned on, they will automatically pair to the receiver. This should take a few seconds.

 

Microphone Placement

  • Clip the microphone near your subjects sternum.  You may need to play with the direction of the mic and proximity depending on environmental factors such as wind.
