This guide is meant to support those interested in using the button maker located in the Digital Design Studio at Tisch Library.

How to borrow the button maker

To borrow the button maker, stop by the Digital Design Studio (DDS), during our desk hours.

The DDS is located on the third floor of Tisch Library (see Tisch Library floor map) which is accessible via stairs and elevator.  There is water fountain located on the same floor as the studio.  Gendered restrooms with accessible stalls are located on this floor. All gender, single stall restrooms are located on the second floor.

Studio equipment policies

Conditions of Use

  • Tufts ID holders can checkout this equipment for use in the Digital Design Studio. This equipment cannot leave the studio.
  • Handle the equipment carefully.
  • All equipment should be returned in the condition it was received.
  • All equipment must be returned to the DDS Welcome Desk, not left in the studio.
  • Equipment borrower assumes full responsibility for damage, loss or theft.

Damage, loss or theft

  • If an item is damaged, lost or stolen, please contact let the Studio Assistant at the front desk know upon return of the item. If you are unable to connect with a Studio Assistant please email tischdds@tufts.edu and a staff member will reach out to you to discuss appropriate actions.
