Making a button

  Cut your button template into strips. Use the graphic punch to cut out your designs.

Identify the crimp die and pickup die.

Rotate the die table so the crimp die is to your left and the pickup die is to your right. 

Insert a shell into the pickup die with the sharp edge facing downward. 

Place your graphic on the shell. Place the clear mylar on top of the graphic.

Rotate the die table with the button template to position it under the lever and push down.

Raise it back up to its rest position.

 

 

Place the collet, with the edges of the ring facing up, into the pickup die.

Rotate the die table with the collet to position it under the lever and push down.

Raise it back up to its rest position.

Rotate the die table and remove the button. Insert the spring pin backing to the

back of the completed button. First, slip the “m” side of the pin into the side of the button,

then press down on the opposite side to secure the pin into the back of the button.
