  • ADA Center for Evidence-Based Dentistry
    Guidelines, summaries, and select systematic reviews from the ADA of direct relevance to typical EBD questions. Also provides tutorials on EBD.

  • American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) Evidence-Based Dentistry
    Committee information and resources on EBD in Pediatric practice.

  • American Student Dental Association (ASDA) Evidence-Based Dentistry
    Statement of support for EBD and links to resources from this student organization.

  • Centre for Evidence-Based Dentistry (CEBD)
    This British organization provides guidance for practising EBD as well as conducting research for evidence and systematic reviews.

  • Cochrane Oral Health Group
    Established in 1996, the Group has over 800 authors who collaborate on creating systematic reviews, which are included in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews. Tufts licenses the CDSR from Ovid and Wiley (links from PubMed). Please see our Databases box under Searching for Evidence for direct access. The ADA's EBD website above lists most Cochrane SRs by topic.

  • The Dental Elf
    Led by the director of the Centre for Evidence-Based Dentistry, this blog provides filtered information in the form of brief summaries of new evidence-based publications.

  • Trip
    A clinical search engine that searches multiple sources simultaneously. Particularly useful in searching multiple sites for guidelines and clinical trials. Click the “guidelines” or “ongoing clinical trials” filters on the right-hand side to narrow to these resources.
