- MD Student Summer Research Fellowships
- TUSM provides funding to students after their first year of medical school for a research project in association with medical faculty.
- $4000 is awarded to students working with a Tufts-affiliated PI
- $2000 is awarded to students working with a non-Tufts-affiliated PI
- Research fellowships award funds in many areas, with specialty funds for fellows studying fields including pharmacology, orthopedics, international research.
- Berman Travel Fund for MD Students
- The Berman Travel Fund provides reimbursement for students who have been offered the chance to present their research at a conference.
- Awards are limited to 1 per student and range from $100-$300.

- Tisch College of Civic Life Funding
- The Tisch Fund for Civic Engagement provides funding for community-based projects that address civic life in practice
- Up to $1,000 for individual students or student groups
- Up to $1,500 for student groups
- The Tisch College Community Research Center funds "community-Tufts collaborative research projects that investigate solutions to a community-identified need."
- Individual project funding is available up to $10,000.
- Also provides microgrants of up to $500 for research projects in partnership with the community.
- Tisch Summer Fellows at Graduate and Professional Schools
- The Tisch College of Civic Life funds a general project-based summer fellowship that addresses "critical issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion with mission-driven program partner organizations."
- Fellows receive a living stipend.
- Tisch also has specific Dental and Medical summer fellows that allow for short-term (~7 weeks) placement for practical learning and active citizenship.
