Offers round table discussions and conversational practice in Arabic, Turkish, Hebrew, and Farsi

Fletcher Students may apply in pairs or in groups for funding of up to $100 per event to support a language-based opportunity where peers keep each other accountable for their language learning, such as meeting for coffee to practice describing their studies in a different language, attending a non-English-speaking event, or undertaking an outing dedicated to language practice. These mini-grants cannot be used to cover tuition in language programs, travel to a foreign country, tutoring costs, coursework or instruction fees, books, supplies, or equipment.

Students may also study the following languages, from beginning to advanced levels: Arabic, Chinese, German, Hebrew, Japanese, and Russian.

The Romance languages all derive from the Latin language spoken in different parts of the Roman Empire. Includes courses in French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish
