Writing in the Health Sciences

Although the intent of many forms of health sciences writing is different, there are many commonalities to consider. At the most basic, you will need to state the problem; describe why your specific idea, observation or solution is important; outline what research has been done in this area;  and refelct on what conclusions can be drawn.

Not matter what your writing skills or familiarity with this process, it is a good idea to make an appointment with the writing consultant. Make an appointment with your liaison librarian to get help creating a search strategy for the literature review, or to learn about citation management.
