The Artist Residency at Directangle Press provides dedicated time and space for artists to research, create, and collaborate in our letterpress and risograph printmaking studio while enjoying small town living in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire.

The Awesome Foundation is an ever-growing worldwide community devoted to forwarding the interest of awesome in the universe. Created in the long hot summer days of 2009 in Boston, the Foundation distributes $1,000 grants, no strings attached, to projects and their creators. At each fully autonomous chapter, the money is pooled together from the coffers of ten or so self-organizing “micro-trustees” and given up front in cash, check, or gold doubloons.

Researchers and scholars in art history, literature, book history, library science, or museum studies, conservation studies, or other relevant fields are invited to submit research proposals that draw upon CBA’s unique collections of materials related to book art.

Collective Futures Fund supports visual artists and artist-run activity in the Greater Boston area through grants of $2,500 and $7,500.

he Hopper Prize is a grant-making institution and digital archiving platform offering a series of individual artist grants on a bi-annual basis totaling $26,000.00 USD.

We provide unrestricted cash grants in the amount of $4,500 and $1,000 to artists around the globe.

The residency is available to emerging and practicing artists, book artists, letterpress printers, and photographers who combine word and image. The residency is designed to help the chosen artist(s) complete their proposed, editioned project by providing studio space, funding, housing if needed, and the support of a curious, interdisciplinary arts community.

Grants for Creative Individuals are unrestricted grants of $5,000 to Massachusetts artists, culture bearers, and creative practitioners to equitably advance creative expression throughout our diverse communities.

Our genres rotate in 2 year cycles, meaning that each genre is open for project proposals every other year. The only exception is environmental artistic activism, which is open every year. Please note that the primary focus of your proposal must be one of the genres being funded in any particular grant cycle. For example, please do not apply for a video/film grant if you are the musician composing the score for a film, or for a theater grant if you are the visual artist creating the set for a play.

Women’s Studio Workshop has an artist-centered philosophy and a deep commitment to the individual’s creative process. We support this vision through providing time and space in the form of grants, residencies, and internships where artists can come to work with 24-hour access to our studios.
