We have over 5,300 LP records at the Lilly Music Library. The records are located in the Music Stacks and can be used in the library or borrowed for use at home. This collection spans approximately 80 years of recorded music from the 1940s to the present and includes recordings from a variety of record labels, including: RCA Victor, Decca, Vanguard, Columbia, Folkway Records, Vox, Nonesuch Records, the University of California Institute of Ethnomusicology, Bärenreiter Musicaphon, the Smithsonian Collection, and many more.

How to find LP records

  • You can use JumboSearch to search for records by title, artist, or keyword
    • For better results use the Advanced Search and limit the "material type" to "audio"
  • You can browse through a generated list of the entire LP record collection in this sheet
