How to Use This Guide
This guide includes a curated list of educational technologies available through Tufts and free online as well as tips and best practices for building online learning objects to support Tufts students. Keep in mind that these are by no means the only tools available, but rather tools that the institution supports and/or Tufts librarians have used or are currently using.
How To Choose a Tool
Before you select a tool to use, have your learning objectives and instruction context already settled. If you're still working on your learning objectives, take a look at the Design Tips for Online Learning Objects guide.
The flow chart below will help you to select the appropriate tool to use for the learning context of your students. Keep in mind your goals for the class and how you want to deploy the learning object as you move through the options.
