Review Articles

If you are still interested in more background information on your question, and have already checked the textbooks and point-of-care-tools, you can also run a search in PubMed to find review articles.

Review articles summarize a topic in varying levels of detail. They are good sources for overview information on a topic. However, they vary in quality, which is why it's best to search other sources of background information first.

In the example below, take note that...

  • The search query is very simple: keep your search to essential keywords!
  • Limit your results to Review by using the article types filter on the left of the results page.
