Information for Faculty

General

This guide has resources for faculty on how to add library content to their syllabi, reading lists, lecture slides and more.  Please let your liaison librarian know if you have any questions. We can help.

We would be happy to create a course guide (like this one) with readings and links to texts and articles licensed by Tufts libraries, for your classes or on supplemental information you think would be useful. Browse our guides to see examples.  Contact your liaison for more information.

We can also:

  • Design assignments involving the scientific literature or information management
  • Arrange for research-skills workshops tailored to your course

  • Identify and link to relevant resources from your Canvas reading list or pages.

Reserves

If you know of a textbook that you would like us to put on reserve for your class, please let us know.

  • Send the Title, Author, Publication Date/Edition to: hhslcirc@tufts.edu.
  • Here is a form with all the information we need on it.
  • Please indicate:
    • What class is this for?
    • Course instructor/s
    • How many students are in the class?
    • Does this title need to be available electronically?
  • Do you have a personal copy you would like us to use?
    • We are happy to take it, but know that it will get some library stickers and a card pocket unless you tell us not to.
