Mobile App Resources

This free app allows you to access our journals from tablets and other mobile devices.

MOBILE APP INSTRUCTIONS

1. From your tablet, download it for free.
2. When initially launching BrowZine, select Tufts University from the drop-down list.
3. Enter your Tufts username and password.
4. Start exploring BrowZine!

This index to the nursing and allied-health literature uses an app from EBSCOhost.

Automatically defaults to searching all EBSCO databases licensed at Tufts. To choose only CINAHL or multiple databases click settings icon.

MOBILE ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS

• Access CINAHL while on the Tufts network.
• Click on the "EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Applications" link at the bottom of opening page for instructions.
  
• Enter your email address.
• Download EBSCOhost app from iTunes or Play Store
  
• Follow instructions in email from ephost
  

This free app provides features to search articles in PubMed, read topic reviews, view journals, and organize  personal collections of articles.

 MOBILE ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS

• Download the app from the App Store, Google Play, or use via the web app.
• Open the app and Start reading.  It will ask you to Sign up with email.
• Click on the confirmation link in your email to verify the account.
• Within the app, a message should display asking to use the proxy at your institution, select Yes. (If not, go to Settings > Account Details > Institution.)
• Find Tufts University and then select automatic login using library login.
• Log in with your Tufts Username and password. 

The National Library of Medicine's interface to its MEDLINE database links to articles licensed by Tufts from its Abstract display.

MOBILE ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS

• For tablets, use PubMed Mobile, login to  PubMed@Tufts and select it under PubMed Tools.
• To access the full text of articles Tufts licenses
  • go to the bottom of the record
  • click the full-text link to the publisher's site.
• If there is no link, you can
  • verify our holdings in the Tufts Catalog by searching for the journal title
  • capture the PubMed ID (at the bottom of the record), which can be used to order a PDF via ILLiad
