Searching JumboSearch for Books

JumboSearch shows the books & e-books available at Tufts, as well as many articles, book reviews, and more we have access to.

Tip: For scholarly criticism, search for the name of the filmmaker/author with "criticism and interpretation."  Try this with the name of the film/book too.

Tip: For books about themes in films, try searching "[topic] in motion pictures" for example "immigration in motion pictures" or "women in motion pictures" and add "Argentina" or "Latin America" as another keyword.  You can try "[topic] in literature" as well.

Tip: For books about a particular city, try the adding the city and country and terms like "social life and customs" or "social conditions" or "politics and government."  For example, "Buenos Aires (Argentina) -- Social life and customs" as a subject search brings back books and other items about life in Buenos Aires.
