CDC Database of Public Health
Collection of the CDC's Public Health images, including infographics.
The PHIL is created in association with the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
MedPix
Online database of free medical images created in association with the National Library of Medicine. As open access images, the material found on MedPix can be reused freely (within the US) as long as it is accompanied by the proper citation.
NIGMS Image and Video Gallery
“A searchable collection of scientific photos, illustrations, and videos” that can be reused noncommercially if properly attributed and used under a CC Sharealike 3.0 License.
NIGMS is created in association with the National Library of Medicine.
Open-i (National Library of Medicine)
Images pulled from open-source articles by way of the National Institute of Health.
The images found through Open-i are copyright protected and must have usage permissions granted by the original authors before correctly attributing them.
