If you don't see a link to the full-text of an article you're interested, try clicking on the Find It @ Tufts icon for that article. The Find It @Tufts button searches the rest of our holdings to provide you with options for getting you the article. It will try to link you directly to the full text if we have online access. If not, you'll be given the option to search our catalog to see if we may own that journal in print. If we don't have it online or in print, you can use the link to request the article from Interlibrary loan (ILLiad). If you don't see this button, be sure to search the title of the journal in JumboSearch, restricting to the Library Catalog.
Museum Studies is an interdisciplinary field. You might need to search a variety of subject databases depending on the subfield you are researching: history, art history, or education. Below is a selection of subject databases. You may also want to consult the subject-specific research guide for individual fields, which you'll find linked on the home page in this guide.
Please note that to access most of the below resources, you will be asked to input your Tufts credentials.
You may have to search more than one subject database to find what you need. Some databases are in the same family of databases, and you can often search more than one at a time. Many academic museum journals are scattered across a variety of databases. Use JumboSearch to find articles across most of the databases available at Tisch Library. But you'll still need to search subject-specific databases to find citations for articles you might need but to which Tisch doesn't subscribe. Use Ulrichsweb to discover which database indexes specific journals.
