Welcome to the Environment, Health, and Justice course guide! This guide is primarily intended for students in HIST 191 Research Seminar: Environment, Health, and Justice, but it will be useful for anyone interested in these topics.
This guide is divided into four major sections: "Getting Started", "Primary Sources", "Secondary Sources", and "Citing Your Sources." Each section provides guidance on finding everything you need for your research project.
All research projects must begin somewhere. If you are not yet familiar with this area of study, reference resources are a good starting point. These sources will provide you with information on background and context as well as with useful bibliographies to support your research. The resources listed below have been selected with this goal in mind.
